The 5th annual golf classic in memory of the late Una Cunningham took place on Friday 15 May in Concra Wood Golf Club raising over €10,350.

The main sponsors of this year’s event were Sally and Laurence Murtagh of Irish Home Care.

The 5th Annual Golf Classic in memory of the lovely Una Cunningham will take place this Friday in Concra Golf Club. Owen, family and friends have raised nearly €60,000 in the past 5 years.

Border Counties Vintage Grassmen are holding a 24 hour silage cutting challenge on Sunday 31 May 2015 at Aughnafarcon, Castleblayney rd.

All donations are going towards Castleblayney Cancer Society and Aughnafarcon National School extension project...

Big Tom launches Daffodil Day and celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Castleblayney Cancer Society.

On the 5th March last Castleblayney Cancer Society launched Daffodil Day 2015 and marked its 25th anniversary. Big Tom and his wife Rose performed the honours on the night in the company of past and present members of Castleblayney Cancer Society Committee and a large number of volunteers and supporters of the society.

Once again the people of Castleblayney have surpassed themselves with their generosity on Daffodil Day and have raised a staggering €12,300.
