Castleblayney should be extremely proud of a group of young people who took it upon themselves to organised a Shave and Wax in the Comet Bar in Aid of Castleblayney Cancer Society and The Oncology Ward In Cavan General Hospital.
Venessa and Barry Duffy from Bree Castleblayney and their family and friends took to the streets and got lots of spot prizes from local business including Leavys Pharmacy, Mr Richards, Declan Loughmans, Spinning Wheel,Coyles Pharmacy, Jim Mc Connon, Castleblayney Jewellers, Stephs Salon Carrickmacross, Touch and Glow Beauty Clinic, The Comet Bar, Dan Hughes, Eamon Brynes Butchers and La Traviata Pizzas.
A huge thanks to Patricia Shields Barbers Shop Crossmaglen, who did the shaves and waxing. A special thanks to the following who took part:

It was a great night and a huge success raising €1,741.00 for Castleblayney Cancer Society and €1,741.00 for The Oncology Ward Cavan General Hospital.
