Well done to Marion Meehan from Broomfield who hosted a coffee morning with lots of homemade goodies and raised €524 split between Castleblayney Cancer Society and Carrickmacross Cancer Society.

Marian & Ashleigh Quinn and Margaret Smith (Marian & Margaret are sisters of local football hero Nudie Hughes) took part in the Killarney Mini Marathon on 20th September and raised €1,983.50.

Thank you to Ian Johnson, Patrick Deery and a group of lads from Aughnamullen who took part in a football match this year as part of their 40th birthday celebrations and raised a fantastic €1,737.
